Be Your Own Spiritual Warrior
Being a warrior is not easy, but it is rewarding.
- Give Yourself a Pep-Talk
Instill confidence in yourself by looking in the mirror and telling yourself how fabulous you are. Brighten your day by wearing that fabulous outfit (our Agni leggings will always make you feel fabulous), treating yourself to a spa vacation, going for that 4pm yoga class, or just allowing yourself to walk away from a situation to just breathe. You need to be there for yourself 100% and do whatever you can to make yourself happy. You come before anyone else.
- Be Your Own Benchmark
Everyone has had a different journey and everyone is blessed with different traits and skills. If you don’t like something about yourself, be aware of it, recognize it, and then change it. But don’t start comparing where another person is on their journey. We all have our own karmas and have different purposes.
- Have A Purpose
The purpose of life is a life of purpose. We all need a reason to get out of bed everyday. Find yours. Stop worrying about your weaknesses and focus on excelling in fields that highlight your strengths. This will help you feel confident and happy.
- Surround Yourself With Confident And Purposeful People
Your friends are a reflection of you. Happy, confident people will help pick you up and believe in you. They believe in abundance so you don’t have room for jealousy and pettiness. You need a strong, supportive safety net in your life, so choose your friends well.
- Spend Time With Yourself
Feel confident in dining with yourself and spending quality time with yourself. Whether it’s watching a movie, reading a book, going out for a walk – love spending time with yourself and build a relationship with yourself as it is the only one you have to live with forever.
- Take Care Of Yourself
Respect yourself enough to not abuse your body. Look for delicious recipes and do some simple exercises on your Spiritual Warrior mat. Your body is your greatest instrument so take care of it.
- Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone
To become a confident and empowered you, step out of your comfort zone and try things that scare you. Facing your fears is one of the most important ways to feel empowered.
- Don’t Take Things Personally
If someone said something negative, it’s their problem – not yours! Don’t ever let someone else bring you down as they are probably just unhappy with themselves. The only person you can control is yourself, so always choose happiness.
- Say No
Focusing on your priorities will give you a sense of power, and saying no to things that interfere with it will then come naturally. Don’t become a people pleaser – you come before anyone else. Embrace that.
- And Help Those Less Fortunate Than Yourself.
Help yourself first so you can help others. Use your strengths to empower those less fortunate than yourself. Be it teaching people a new skill, mentoring people, or donating time and money – serve others selflessly and feel the joy you get from giving.
You are enough. Love and believe in yourself. Life is a battlefield and we are continuously faced with situations that will try and test us, but the secret is to never stop believing in ourselves and fight on.
