This Baker Turns Internet Trolls Into Cake And It Is Amazing

There’s nothing like a cake that says “you suck” in colourful sprinkles and icing

This baker has truly mastered the art of taking online hate, and turning it into cake.

Hey!

The Twittersphere can be a harsh place sometimes. Internet trolls can be lurking at any corner, and spewing senseless and hurtful comments out into the world. And if you aren’t Chrissy Teigen, it can be hard to think of a comeback and not be affected.

However, thanks to Kat Thek, founder of Troll Cakes, fighting back and taking the high road has never been more delicious.

Hey!

The pastry chef turns rude internet comments and turns them into cakes – complete with colourful sprinkles and icing and all – and then mails them to the offender. It’s a clever idea to get people not to take unimportant internet trolls all too seriously, and also makes for some hilarious desserts.

Hey!

All victims have to do is send Kat Thek a screenshot of the hate they have received, and the chef/artist/saviour quickly turns this into a chocolate-chip brownie cake featuring all the trimmings. And one mean message.

The recipient then gets the cake packaged nicely delivered to their front door, with a note of their hateful comment, and the words “Congratulations! Your internet comment has been made into a troll cake.”

Hey!

It certainly shouldn’t motivate online hate, but will definitely make the offender think twice before posting next time.

What do you think?
