So Cola And Yogurt Pringles Are A Thing Now So You Don’t Even Need Actual Drinks

Thirsty after eating too many Pringles? Here, have some drink-flavoured Pringles!

You know that feeling when you’re being a lazy couch potato whilst also eating potato chips and binge-watching Netflix? Yeah, you know that feeling when you suddenly get thirsty after eating maybe approx 300 potato chips and your body needs some hydration? And you know that feeling when that would require you getting off the couch and walking to the kitchen to get a drink?

Don’t lie, we’ve all been there.

Here to solve this common dilemma, Pringles have unveiled a series of Cola and Yogurt Pringles – essentially drink-flavoured Pringles so you NEVER have to get off the couch to go get a drink again.

Wait… what?

South Korean discount retail chain Homeplus is selling the thirst-quenching snacks, both of which look as disconcerting as they sound. The cola Pringles feature a big can of coke on the front of the trademark cylinder packaging, with the description detailing a refreshing flavour profile of the fizzy drink.

Mmm, yummy.

The yogurt Pringles on the other hand show a light pink yogurt drink, similar to Yakult or Actimel, and claims to resemble the “rich flavour of sweet and sour yogurt.” Why you would voluntarily eat something that tastes like sour yogurt is beyond us, but why not.

It could be cool in the same way lot’s of people dip their fries in their milkshakes/cola and say it’s delicious?

Between wacky marketing and clever solutions, we’re definitely divided on this one. Is this the utter height of laziness/crispiness? Is this what we have come to? What will come next? Oxygen-flavoured Pringles for when we need some fresh air? Toothpaste-flavoured Pringles for when we should brush our teeth?

Maybe, just maybe, we should stick to Pringles as standard snacks. Let the H2O provide the hydration. Let the outdoors provide the air. And when you’re busy being a couch potato… stick to eating regular potato chips.

What do you think?
