#Memories: ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ 8/10
It’s been 24 years since the first episode of Friends ever aired, and whilst we could watch the entire TV show on repeat for years to come, fans have been longing for a reunion of the cast for a long time now.
Ask and you shall receive.
A Youtube channel named Smasher has released a Friends reunion film trailer, and if you’re feeling a little nostalgic, it’ll be right up your street. The description reads, “this picks up a few years where the final season left off with Ben and Emma grown up. Mike and Phoebe have trouble with marriage, Monica and Chandler are getting a divorce, Joey couldn’t find someone, and Rose and Rachel have trouble after many years of not being together! Filled with some surprise appearances by today’s actors, along with some old friends (no pun intended), this movie will be an all-star extravaganza, while showing a lesson in being there for each other.”
That last part sounds kind of familiar 😉
Charming and heartwarming, take a look at the Friends reunion film teaser trailer below, and watch it karate chop you right in the feels.
Whilst it is clearly no official trailer for a real movie, the mock-up is almost convincingly real. Smasher took excerpts from various cast members’ projects, including ‘Cougar Town’, ‘Episodes’, and ‘Web Therapy.’ Since it’s upload, the clip has been viewed over 4 million times, and the comment section is flooded with inside jokes. One user wrote, “FRIENDS WE WERE ON A BREAK”, whilst another wrote, “please tell me this is real”, and someone else simply put “unagi.”
Whatever you may feel whilst watching the clip, I think we can all agree on one thing. If there ever is a real Friends reunion film, we’ll be there for it.
