Frakta Stockings Exist So You Can Celebrate Christmas The Millennial Way

Happy Ikea-mas!

Take My Money: 💸 💸 💸 💸 💸 💸 💸 7/10

2017 has kind of been IKEA’s year.

Between Balenciaga pretty much copying their bright blue plastic Frakta design, over to people getting down and crafty with it themselves, the Frakta bag has been freakin’ everywhere.

And it’s about to get a whole lot more festive.

A company called Bootleg Baubles has released a series of limited edition Frakta stockings, making for quite possibly THE MOST 2017 way to decorate your home.

The product description reads, “Nobody knew they wanted this and suddenly here it is.”

(Yup, that’s pretty accurate)

Handmade in the U.K., the bright blue Frakta stockings come in priced at £20 each. It’s quite a whopping sum considering the original bag costs about £1, yet, of course, it’s more than just a casual-home-furniture-store-bag-turned-stocking. It’s basically a tangible meme you can hang on your chimney.

Glistening with that plastic-y sheen and tagged with that bold yellow ‘IKEA’ logo, it’s a way to stay right on trend this Christmas (I mean, Ikea-mas) with a traditional decorating staple in contemporary cool form.

Furthermore, you could probably make great use of it after Christmas too. Yknow, as a light vertical shopping bag, or some protective socks in wet weather.
