He’s quite possibly the most famous rabbit of our time.

And now he’s coming to London, ready to have afternoon tea with you. Well, sorta.

A Peter Rabbit afternoon tea is being held at Flemings Mayfair from March 16th, to celebrate the premiere of the new Peter Rabbit film.

A cross between a beautiful throwback to our childhood tales and scrumptious desserts, the luxury boutique hotel has curated a special menu blossoming with hints of spring, and hints of the curious rabbit from the famous Beatrix Potter storybooks.

Held at the super snazzy Drawing room, the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea was inspired by our furry friend’s favourite vegetable patch. The work of Michelin-awarded chef Shaun Rankin, the experience begins with a Champagne Devaux botanical cocktail, before proceeding on to a chilled tomato gazpacho, as well as mozzarella, pesto, and basil sandwiches. As for the sweet stuff, there’s everything from a carrot cake, dark chocolate and beetroot brownie, and strawberry and lavender pavlova.

Truly, it’s the most exquisite vegetable patch a rabbit could ever have.

And we’re sort of super into it. A warm combination of nostalgia and charming nosh, we can totally imagine Peter and his sisters certainly enjoying this one.

Served daily from 12.30pm to 5pm, the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea will be on for the whole of March, and is priced at £34.50 per person, or £48 per person, inclusive of a glass of champagne.

Who’s coming?
