You may be puking the next day, but chances are it’ll be pretty pink puke <3

Take My Money: 💸💸💸💸💸💸  6/10

If you were looking for a way to jazz up the old tequila shot (or seven) on a Friday night, this is it.

Pink tequila is officially a thing, and it’s just as Instagrammable as it sounds. So much so, that it might just become the new rosé.

Beautiful

Looking to make our wild nights out and miserable morning afters a lot more glam, Codigo 1530 has released ‘Rosa Tequila’ – pink tequila that suddenly makes tequila shots look like adorable baby cupcakes and fairy cocktails.

It’s as if Tequila can’t do us any harm anymore.

That kiss mark tho

Gaining its pink colour from wine (!), the pink tequila is stored in barrels normally used for Cabernet. This is where the magic happens, as the tequila agave combines with the wine soaked into the barrels. It’s basically two of our favourite boozy essentials in one.

And one beautiful AF aesthetic.

No need for mixers when you have #Codigo Rosa on hand

So cute

The special soaking process also gives the pink tequila a light floral taste, often making it a subtle yet sublime addition to cocktails. Other than cocktails however, Codigo 1530’s tequila is probably best enjoyed without a mixer.

I mean, you wouldn’t want to ruin that colour now, would you?

Yes pls

Currently only available in 18 states in the US, one bottle will set you back around $60 (approx £45), and you can find out more over on the Codigo 1530 website.

Who wants a sip?
