Take My Money: 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 8/10
You know that feeling when it’s cold outside and you’re tired and all you want to do is snuggle up in bed or on the sofa and cuddle up with something cute and furry?
This cat pillow knows.
Yukai Engineering Co. have released a cat pillow called ‘Qoobo’ designed to act and comfort you just like a cat.
Perfect for anyone who isn’t quite ready to adopt a real cat (or simply has a landlord that won’t allow it), Qoobo may just make for a very cool pet substitute. Aside from its very cute exterior, the cat pillow is designed to vibrate and react to human touch, and even has a tail that wiggles in response to particular strokes.
All this without having to feed it or worry about it when you’re away.

The Qoobo website describes the robotic pet pillow in three steps: Stroke the pillow > Let it react > Get healed.
Getting ~healed~ is actually a major driving force to the production of Qoobo, which was designed with Japanese urbanites in mind. These often do not have the time/money/flatshare permission to have a cat or dog, yet really crave the sweetness and presence of a furry companion when they get back home from long work days. Thus Qoobo was born to bring lonely big city people some therapeutic animal joy, minus the major responsibility.
The cat pillow also doesn’t have a head, although that doesn’t seem to have any particular reasoning…
Available in ‘husky gray’ or ‘French brown’, find out more over on the Qoobo website, and get cuddlin’.
