These ‘Made By Refugees’ Stickers On Everyday Products Make A Striking Point

They’re part of an eye-opening campaign

A lot of countries in the world right now are dealing with refugees in many different ways.

We’re at a point where more than ever it’s important to spread a message of love and care, as well as open-mindedness and acceptance in these modern times of true globalisation.

Here to remind the world that ‘countless refugees have made life-changing contributions to society’ Made By Refugee has thereby come up with a clever campaign.

By printing stickers that boldly state ‘Made By Refugee’, the project aims to highlight just how many items and inventions we love were actually made and created by refugees. The stickers are placed on any items from Sriracha sauce (from a Vietnamese refugee), over to Bambi (Austrian), the birth control pill (part Austrian), or a record of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody (a huge mix!).

It’s a completely crazy long list of items, and the stickers do a good job of pointing out just how much refugees have given us. Whilst the campaign is based in New York, it definitely makes a strong point for any country out there, and a touching testament to how much refugees have and can give us, if only we let them. Take a look and some of the images below, and surprise yourself.
