#TrippyTravel: 🚄🎾🏄🚄🎾🏄 6/10
Taipei City is hosting the 2017 Summer Universiade this August, and to get people excited, has come up with a very cool way to commemorate the occasion.
Decorated with swimming pools, football fields, and race tracks, the Taiwan subway has gotten a sporty makeover, often making for some very trippy photo opps and excitement. The Universiade is actually the second-largest international sports event after the Olympics, but quite clearly already proving very photogenic.
The very realistic simulations make it appear as if commuters are standing inside a pool, ready to run a race, or just about to shoot a penalty. Managed by EasyCard Corporation and the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan, the playful redecoration of the Taiwan subway is sure to get any couch/commuting potato in the mood for sports.
Or at least, for posing like a sportsman.
Found on the cars of the Songshan-Xindian (Green) line which runs a central route, here’s one picturesque journey that will definitely light up your sleepy mornings on the way to work.
